Do you like to keep your water cold but you’re struggling to find the right cup, flask or tumbler that can keep your ice cubes chill?

During the hot months of the summer, it can be vital to keep your water cold so you can stay hydrated and refreshed whether you’re working at the office, taking your dogs for a walk or relaxing in your high-rise city apartment.

I love to go hiking with my dogs in the summer months but I take lots of breaks in the shade so I can take on water and prevent my mini huskies from becoming dehydrated on some taxing trails.

However, it’s frustrating when I open my sports bottle to find the ice has melted and the water is warm or open my lunchbox to find my food is overheating.

The good news is Yeti can provide a cool solution.

In this article, we’ll take a look at four Yeti products that can keep your water and food cool.

Who Are Yeti?

Yeti were established in 2006 to initially provide a cooler that could handle outdoor adventures

The company’s goal was to replace the cheaply built coolers on the market to provide one that can withstand the unpredictable day-to-day life of an adventurer enthusiast.

Yeti wanted a cooler that could handle what they describe as the “abuse” that these products can sometimes be put through during outdoor adventures with family and friends.

They wanted their products to perform when it matters the most, whether you’re in the wilderness, fishing at sea or enjoying some cold refreshments with friends next to the BBQ.

Best Yeti Products – Our Pick

Now that we’ve learned a little bit more about Yeti as a company, it’s time to take a closer look at some of our favourite products that can keep your drinks and food cool whether you’re going camping, heading to the beach or just commuting to work.

The Rambler has a TripleHaul handle to make it easy to carry and simple to open. Once opened, Yeti have a shatter-resistant, dishwasher safe spout so you can have controlled gulps on the go.

• Easy to carry
• Dishwasher safe
• 36oz

My brother in law is a postman and swears by his Yeti Rambler. He fills it with ice at the start of the day and when he returns home, his Rambler is still full of ice even if he has to refill a couple of times.

My expectations were met by this outstanding bottle. It kept my water cool and the ice remained frozen despite leaving the Rambler in the sun during those occasional sunny summer days.

I really liked the design with the chug cap allowing for a pleasant drinking experience rather than using a straw that slowly diminishes in performance.

2) Rambler 20oz Tumbler

The Rambler 20oz Tumbler is perfect for taking an ice coffee (or hot coffee) on the go, whether you’re driving to work, walking the baby in the pram or looking to have a hot cup of tea for a picnic.

It’s made from durable stainless steel with a double-wall vacuum insulation to protect your hot or cold beverage at all costs.

The Rambler 20oz uses the Magnet Slider to add what Yeti describe as an extra barrier of protection for keeping drinks contained and preventing heat or cold from escaping.

Pros

• Durable Stainless Steels
• Magslider Lid

• 20oz capacity
• DuraCoat colors

Cons

• Premium price

While I was most excited to try Yeti’s Rambler Bottle, I was most surprised by the performance of their Rambler 20oz Tumbler.

I love ice coffee for my walks with my Alaskan Klee Kai or sitting outside on the patio working in the morning sunshine. I have a tendency to forget to put my cup in the dishwasher and I was really impressed the following morning when I located my Ramber 20oz Tumbler and found it full to the brim with ice.

If you like hot drinks, it’s perfect too. I made myself an Americano at 9am and I slowly sipped it over a couple of hours as the Rambler Tumbler kept my coffee piping hot with the Magslider so easy to use. It’s become my constant companion.

3) Day Trip Lunch Box

They’ve loaded the lunchbox with gills that have insulation power, while it has a water-resistant exterior.

Yeti add that it’s rock solid so it won’t lose shape in your backpack or bag even on turbulent commutes on the train in the morning.

Whether you’re looking for a lunchbox for your breakfast after a workout at the gym or your lunch at the office, Yeti’s Daytrip Lunch Box is a versatile option.

I really appreciated the “rock-solid form factor” as the lunch box managed to retain it’s shape even when it managed to find it’s way to the bottom of my gym bag.

It keeps food fresh and unsquashed, which is something that I have struggled with in the past as previous lunchboxes get squashed underneath my gym gear.

4) Camino Carryall 35

If you’re looking for a tote bag that can withstand challenging conditions and terrain, you may want to consider the Camino Carryall 35.

Yeti’s website describes the Camino Carryall 35 as the perfect all-purpose, here-to-there bag for any and every day. The company suggests it can be used for wet boots, waders, dry clothes, tools and hooks.

They add that it’s the perfect bag to keep your gear contained in the boot of your car rather than relying on a sloppy bag that often spills over after a muddy hike or wet walk to ruin the trunk of your car.

Pros

• Waterproof
• Ultra-durable
• Easy-to-clean
• Six colours

Cons

• Premium price

Price

The Camino Carry All 35 will set you back $149.99 if you buy it on Yeti’s website.

As I mentioned above, I was introduced to Yeti by my brother-in-law who is well versed on the best options for keeping food and drinks cool on his daily mail route in California. He uses the Camino Carry All to keep all his drinks, lunch and snacks cool even in a hot and humid mail truck.

I was impressed by the Camino Carryall 35 for it’s durability. It’s evident Yeti have used high-quality materials to ensure the Camino can withstand the rough and tumble of challenging hikes and treks.

It’s perfect for a trip to the beach where you can store your towels, trunks, food, drinks, sun cream, spade and much more easily. The fact it’s waterproof means you can have some dry clothes stored away without worrying that they’ll get damp or sandy.

Anything Else To Consider?

While we’ve featured Yeti’s Bottles, Tumblers, Lunch Box and Carry All in this article, Yeti have a wide range of products for the outdoor enthusiasts.

They’ve got coolers, ice boxes, tanks, mug, jugs, kids bottles and much more.

Remember, you can get free shipping when you spend £40 on their website.

We’ve reached the end of our feature on some of our favourite Yeti products.

If you’re looking to stay hydrated in spite of where your day takes you, the Yeti Rambler 36oz Bottle is perfect. It will keep your water ice cold, it’s easy to open and close with minimal hassle when it comes to keeping it clean.

For readers who like a hot coffee or iced latte, Rambler 20oz Tumbler will keep it piping hot for when you make it to the office or perfectly chill to re-energize you after your morning gym session.
