Thermobol Lean Review

Thermobol Lean is a ‘fat metaboliser’ supplement made and sold by MaxiNutrition.

Where to buy: www.amazon.co.uk

MaxiNutrition are one of the biggest names in the health and fitness supplements industry, and their products are well-known worldwide.

Thermobol Lean is a so-called ‘fat burner’ supplement that contains Caffeine and a range of other ingredients, including vitamins and plant extracts.

It’s widely accepted that the main proven way to lose fat is to stick to a (sensible and well-managed) diet and exercise regimen in which you’re burning slightly more calories than you’re consuming. In other words, it’s about keeping in a slight calorie deficit over time.

So-called ‘fat burner’ supplements are generally not proven to ‘burn’ fat on their own. Rather, they can provide a range of ingredients such as vitamins, minerals and plant extracts, each of which may (or may not) bring some benefits and support on your health and fitness journey.

In this article, we’re going to take a close look at the Thermobol Lean supplement for ourselves, paying particularly close attention to the ingredients formula, the doses and the price.

So, with the introductions out of the way, let’s start taking a closer look at the basic points surrounding this ‘fat metaboliser’ supplement.

MaxiMuscle Thermobol Lean – The Basics

As we have already clearly mentioned above, Thermobol Lean is a so-called ‘fat metaboliser’ supplement made by the specialist supplements company MaxiMuscle / MaxiNutrition.

MaxiMuscle are one of the leading brands when it comes to sports supplements, and they provide a range of different products, including protein powders, protein bars and other supplements such as Thermobol Lean.

The official MaxiMuscle website describes Thermobol as a “unique” fat metaboliser supplement which has been “scientifically formulated” to support your training goals.

The bottle we tried also said that it uses specially selected ingredients to support energy metabolism and focus.

On the bottle, it also says that every batch of this product has, like the rest of the MaxiMuscle range, has been screened for banned substances and is ‘Informed Sport’ accredited.

The bottle’s label also features all the information you’ll need to know about Thermobol, including the ingredients, the recommended directions and the warnings you should read before taking this supplement for the first time.

Our bottle contained 90 tablets, which is the equivalent of a 30-day supply if you stick to the recommended dose of three tablets per day.

MaxiMuscle seem to keep their marketing material to a minimum with Thermobol, and they keep it simple without making any bold claims about what this product may do.

So, now that we’ve covered the basic points, it’s time to focus on the main fact when it comes to supplements – the ingredients and their doses.

The Ingredients

Thermobol Lean by MaxiMuscle contains 10 active ingredients, according to the label and the description on the official website. These ingredients are:

• Bitter Orange Peel
• Caffeine
• Cayenne Extract
• Chromium
• Green Tea Extract
• Guarana Seed Powder
• Vitamin B1
• Vitamin B5
• Vitamin B7 (Biotin)
• Vitamin B12
• L-Tyrosine

As you can see for yourself, there is an interesting range of ingredients in Thermobol, including some important B Vitamins, minerals and plant extracts.

Editor's note: Any health claims about the ingredients mentioned in this article are listed as authorised on the EU Register at the time of publishing. Additionally, you should carefully check the ingredients information shown on the official website of any product you're considering purchasing, as formulas may change from time to time and therefore may differ from what's shown on this page.

The inclusion of Vitamin B12 is common in supplements like this one. In case you didn’t know, Vitamin B12 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and normal energy release amongst other things.

You’ll often also find the essential trace element Chromium in this kind of product. Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism as well as the maintenance of normal blood sugar levels.

Biotin is also an interesting inclusion, as it also contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and normal energy release.

Of course, you’ll probably already know that Thermobol uses Caffeine as one of its main ingredients. Caffeine is a potent stimulant that you probably already know all about.

The bottle of Thermobol we tested contained 148mg of Caffeine per tablet, which is a relatively high amount. To put this into context, a strong cup of coffee usually contains around 100mg of Caffeine.

Because the Caffeine content in this supplement is significant, this product is probably best not consumed near to bedtime, and it’s important to monitor and keep your Caffeine intake from other sources in check. Speak to your doctor if in doubt about this.

Other ingredients in the Thermobol list are Cayenne Extract, which is a common inclusion in supplements like this, along with Green Tea Extract.

It also includes the amino acid L-Tyrosine and two other plant extracts – Guarana Seed Powder and Bitter Orange Peel.

It’s best to check the label of any product you purchase for the supplement facts, as manufacturers do change their formulas from time to time.

All in all, Thermobol is a Caffeine-containing ‘fat metaboliser’ supplement that contains an array of vitamins, minerals and plant extracts, many of which are often found in supplements in this category.

Price and Where To Buy

The price for one bottle of Thermobol Lean was around £30 when we were doing our research.

It’s available to buy directly from MaxiMuscle, and is also on sale at Amazon and with a few other retailers, such as Holland and Barrett.

There are some deals where you can save on the price per bottle on the official MaxiMuscle website, if you’re willing to buy more than one bottle at a time.

Side Effects

The main thing to bear in mind before trying this supplement is the fact that it contains quite a lot of Caffeine.

As we mentioned above, each single tablet of Thermobol Lean contains 148mg of Caffeine, which is a total of 444mg per three capsules.

This is a significant amount, and as we mentioned above, you should not consume this product too close to going to sleep. It is also wise to keep tabs on your total Caffeine intake from other sources such as Coffee, for example, to ensure that you’re not consuming too much of the stimulant.

There is a warning on the bottle saying that this product is not recommended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women.

The label on the bottle also says that food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

As we always recommend, you should speak to your doctor or a certified medical professional before making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle, or trying a new supplement like this.

If you have an underlying medical condition or are taking any prescribed medication, you should seek advice from your doctor before taking a supplement like this one.

How To Take It

The directions on our bottle are pretty straightforward.

They simply say that you should consider taking up to three tablets daily with water, split evenly throughout the day.

They also say that if you are using their other product called Promax Lean, limit yourself to three servings of both products combined in a day.

As we mentioned above, because of the significant Caffeine content in this supplement, it’s probably best not to consume it too late in the day.

Anything Else To Consider?

As we have mentioned throughout this article, food supplements are not intended to be used a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Products in this category are often marketed as ‘magic pills’ which will work wonders on their own, but this is simply not the case.

It is always best to make sure that your nutrition plan and exercise regimen are both on point first before thinking about taking a supplement.

It’s also important to remember that an exercise and nutrition regimen in which you’re burning more calories than you’re consuming over a sustained period of time is the main method for achieving fat loss.

Also, as we mentioned above, it is best to speak to your doctor or a certified medical professional before taking any new supplement.
