The Sport Review delivers a unique mix of breaking news, social content and original reporting on the world’s most popular sports.

Founded as a sports blog in late 2008 by Martin Caparrotta and Kieran Beckles, The Sport Review quickly evolved into a popular site covering sports news, features and social media content.

The Sport Review is part of the Open Plan Media group of sites, which also includes the new wellness destination HumanWindow and helloBARK!, the new pet owner resource.

Meet The Team

Martin Caparrotta

Martin Caparrotta is co-founder and editor of The Sport Review. He helped secure an initial investment in the website through the UCL Bright Ideas prize in 2010, before studying Newspaper Journalism at City University in London. With a background in web design, he also oversees the development of the website.

Kieran Beckles

Kieran Beckles is The Sport Review’s co-founder and chief writer. He is a graduate of NUI Galway in Ireland and News Associates. A former Ireland rower, he manages the site’s ever-growing team of contributors as well as landing exclusive interviews with some of the biggest names in sport.
