Eric Djemba-Djemba has emerged as a cult favourite, despite being pretty poor for the duration of his stay at Old Trafford. Signed from Nantes in 2003 after establishing himself as a tough-tackling midfielder, hopes were high the Cameroonian could potentially be a successor to the great Roy Keane. However, he largely failed to live up to expectations and was eventually sold to Aston Villa in January 2005.
